During the New York Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter collections, the fashion world was treated to a surfeit of hot makeup ideas; from time-tested make-up looks to new and exciting makeup trends. The return of the 60s and 70s look was a big hit, and so were the natural, nude and minimalist look. Bold and bright lips
Bold red lips are the epitome of glamour even in the days of Marilyn Monroe. Ruby red, cherry red, red velvet, scarlet red , burnt red to fire engine red, are all the season’s rage. But red is not the only bold hot color for Fall; rich mauves, deep plums, bright orange, dark purple and burgundy, making sure that there is a bold vampy color for everyone. Bold bright lips together with flawless complexion are one of the hottest makeup trends.

Nude make-up
The fresh natural look of nude or barely – there makeup is a still a big favorite. but for this fall it was endowed with an angelic flawless skin and doe-eyed glow. The challenge to nude makeup is to create a radiant luminous look that would highlight a woman’s natural beauty without overdoing it. The beauty of this hot makeup trend for fall 2011 is the easy and fast way to create it. All that is needed is a foundation in the tone ort color that exactly match a skin tone, eye shadows in the most neutral shades, a bit of blush applied to the cheek bones, nude lipstick or lip-gloss and mascara to make the eyes pop.

Thick eyebrow
Again, natural is the key word for this hot makeup trend for fall 2011. Gone are the days of thin over-plucked eyebrows. Natural, thick eyebrows, even made bolder with black pencil and defined eyebrows are this season’s trend.

Colorful smoky eyes
