Lip makeup is easy to put on, for some. However, there are some cases in which you may find that there is a bit of difficultly with your lip color. However, the question is—how do you apply your lip color easily without it feathering, cracking, etc? First of all, moisturize your lips. You can do this a few different ways. You can use olive oil or vitamin e oil or you can use your favorite lip balm. Try to find a lip balm that works well for you or try the other two suggestions. Next, try to exfoliate your lips every once in a while. You can do this using a little bit of olive oil that sits on your lips and an old, soft tooth brush. Be careful not to scrub too hard or to exfoliate your lips too often. Also, try not to moisturize them too much; they’ll start moisturizing themselves less and you’ll end up using more and more lip balm. A good rule is to only moisturize them right before your shower and first thing in the morning before you put on your makeup.

Next, get a good lip liner. If you cannot get your lip pencil soft enough, light the tip on fire for two seconds, put it out, let it cool, and then try to use it. By lighting it on fire, you may find that you get better coverage with your lip liner. Don’t just line the outline of your lips though—fill them completely in. Apply your lipstick over it.
